| Dear NG,
i try to develop a LNP routing daemon (LNPoI - Lego Network Protocol over
Internet)and i think this peace of software can be also usefull to other
people using legOS, RCX and Cybermasters (!).
For now it´s only available as a binarie file for Windows, but i want to
implement other platforms too (Linux, HP-UX, NetBSD).
The documentation file is only available in german for now
(http://www.nowak-sys.de/lnpoi) , but i implement a little help system in
english. You can connect to lnpoi.exe with a Telnet-Client "telnet localhost
20000). The default port is 20000. If you need another port start "lnpoi
<port>". Its good to set local echo on your telnet client because lnpoi
send no echos.
I heard and read about LNPD but i didn´t find a solution how to communicate
with my Cybermaster-Brick. Thats the main reason why i start this project.
If you are interessted you find the first version on
http://www.nowak-sys.de/lnpoi/lnpoi-v02.zip. I tested it with W2K, but i
think there are no problems with 98, ME, NT or XP.
A "ready-to-start" C++ class to implement LNPoI-Client applications is in
progress.
Bye

A C++ class to build client application without knowing the LNPoI protocol
is available for Windows and Linux now.
