Hi,
the function does exactly what the name says...it sends a LNP integrity
layer packet of given length.
Anyway the function seems to be unused. lnp_addressing_write() is e.g. used
to send the acknowledges in program.c, which makes perfect sense, because
addressing packets are used to send a packet to a specific destination
address whereas integrity layer packets are used to give you some kind of
broadcast functionality.
In general, LNP does not use acknowledges. LNP is UDP-like...

Anyway...,
If you want to know all about the structure of LNP-packets just copy and
paste "Re: LNP Addressing Schemes" into the search-field.
Martin Cornelius gives a brief explanation of LNP packets.
