Does anyone have a source for foam balls similar to those found in
Robosports? There are foam balls listed in the Pitsco catalogue,
but they claim to be three inches in diameter which is way larger
than the foam balls in the Pitsco cataolgue. Supposeably, the
Lego League is using foam balls acquired from a magic store, but
they bought out their stock.

I suggested ping pong balls to another Lego League participant. He
said they were the perfect size.

If you are "tight-fisted" (like I am) you might be able get hard plastic
balls for "free".

like these: http://wombat.ludvika.se/~ham/ris/images/P0000406.jpg

I don't know if someone finds this disgusting but if you use a deo with a
"roller ball" on top you should get the idea..
Once you pop em' out they can actually be washed... Works fine and there's
no catastrophe if one should get lost. On the downside the might be a bit
heavy.

Also, does anyone know of a LEGO add-on kit with the large
blue pneumatic cylindars? Pneumatics II costs $100.00, but
all I want is the pneumatic components.

Pneumatic parts have been available form shop@home.  (860) 763-4011 US
& (800) 267-5346 Canada.  Check your catalog or Lugnet for these:

5108 Large Cylinder $3.25 US
5107 Pump $3.25 US
5109 Tubing & T $3.25 US
5099 Valve $2.75 US

5110 Includes one of each of the above $10.75 US

There is also:
5116 Small Cylinder $4.00 Can
5117 Compressor Pump $5.25 Can

The blue air tanks are not available separately AFAIK.
