On behalf of Jeramy Spurgeon,
Greetings all!
Im proud to announce the release of the premiere issue of RailBricks!

How ironic to launch on the day when 9V is declared dead...
Still Im happy to see the release of the first issue. Ive been looking forward
to it ever since I spotted the first picture on Brickshelf back in April. Does
this mean the forum on the site will also go live one of these days?

9V is not dead, believe me. In my club, some guys exhibits large 12V layouts!!
TLC discontinue 9V, but the community for sure will support it for long.

I hope so. I cant say for sure it will - Im not the webmaster, just a simple
contributor of the magazine as you may become tomorrow. Jeramy is busy right now
with some personnal business (happy business) but my guess is that he will reply
to you later.
Regards;

All I can really say is...WOW! A whole E-Zine dedicated to LEGO Trains! Ive
been waiting for something like this for a few years now and its finally a
reality. The first issue looks amazing. I have to admit I havent had a chance
to properly absorb it yet, but I might find some time over lunch today. :-)
From what I saw, you guys are doing it right. Lots of great articles and really
capturing the pulse and passion of the LEGO Train community.
After quickly browsing through, I am very excited to read the Track Bed
article. Ive been looking for information on track beds for a long time and
here it is. :-)
Thanks for taking the time to put this together. Great work...simply great!

Hi Ronald!
Thanks for the compliments.
It may seem a bit ironic that the release of the first issue coincided with the
9V announcement, but it was by accident, really. I had planned to launch the
magazine two weeks ago, but was then asked to hold the fisrt release so that the
announcement could be included.
The Railbricks team has discussed the idea of having a forum on the website, but
felt that there were other websites that were better suited to have train
forums, such as here on lugnet, or eventually ILTCO.
