For plastics, I'd recomend "GOOP" over silicon adhesive. It has a small amount
of solvent to adhere to plastic, and sets faster. The stuff is like a hybrid of
Silicon and rubber cement.
As for CA (superglue), the fumes are nearly as dangerous as MEK. Also be aware
that CA fumes can fog up plasic surfaces. Ever watch CSI when the use the
fingerprint fume boothe? That's heated CA glue that they use.
BTW you can mix CA and MEK for a stronger plastic bond. NEVER mix CA and fresh
epoxy (kaboom).
