(...) Works great on my Netscape 3.01 here at work. Don't know what was changed about the display, but looks a lot sharper (had the display previously been scaled? The picture is smaller now). (24 years ago, 26-May-00, to lugnet.org.us.wamalug)

         Re: testing webcam —Kevin Loch
(...) You might want to check your netscape cache settings. Especially the "verify every time" checkbox. I just made a cgi to serve the image that sets expire=0 in the http header to prevent caching. (24 years ago, 26-May-00, to lugnet.org.us.wamalug)

(...) I figured. It's just when I was looking you were in the frame leaning back and smiling/laughing (Hard to tell the difference on a cam) at what appeared to be the ceiling.         Re: testing webcam —Nathan McDowell
(...) Hey Kevin, that refresh rate is WAY fast, the whole picture doesn't even download in time before it refreshes. Granted, I don't have the best connection... I'm usually connected at 28800 bps. Anyway to slow that down, maybe? =) ~Nathan =) (24 years ago, 31-May-00, to lugnet.org.us.wamalug)

Kevin, (...) Funky, watching you work. :) I gotta ask, though, what *is* that yellow framework monstrosity in the background?       Thats pretty neat Kevin, I am using a 56k modem, Mac os 8.6 and Navigator 4.7.3 and the picts download fairly quick.          Re: starship —Kevin Loch
(...) I'm pretty much just making it up as I go along. I'ts more fun and "creative" that way. It also lets me vary the design based on what parts I have on hand. I've done a bit more work on the frame. I'll put it up on camera1 tonight. KL (24 years ago, 2-Jun-00, to lugnet.org.us.wamalug)
