| | | | | Hello all,
I know this is probably a long shot, but does anybody have any monorail
track that we could use for the train layout? I was planning on bringing my
airport shuttle, and trying to run it between the two train stations we
have, and am short about 7-10 peices of straight track.
Thanks

That would be great!!!
I think 15 should do it, that should be enough to cover what I am missing,
and have a few extra in case anything unforseen comes up. I have plenty of
curved, and two switches, as well as a bunch of short straight, so we should
be all set there.
If you want to e-mail me your address and let me know roughly what shipping
will be,(regular mail should be fine) I will send you out a check A.S.A.P.
Thanks Alot

I have two pieces, I think. Are these the long gray 1xn (not sure how long)
pieces that are gray, smooth on top, except for a single raised ridge that runs
along its length? And the ridge has some sort of serrating on it? If I'm
anywhere near the right ballpark, I have two of these pieces taht we can use.

Shaun,
I think what you have is old 4.5v train track. I think (but I don't have any
so I don't know) the monorail track is 2 wide (maybe even wider) with a rail
down the middle.

I think you're talking about the old 4.5v train tracks-- these came in grey
in <set:6970> see: http://www.brickshelf.com/scans/6000/6970/6970-08.html )
They're 1 stud wide and have 1 toothed edge facing upward.
The monorail tracks (as I believe) are roughly 4? studs wide with a ridge
which has a smooth top, and 2 toothed edges-- one on each side. See:
