Okay, you've all gone and done it. It's plain and simple: I'm going to have to
spend every last cent I have to get more Legos. The fire had subsided a tiny
bit recently, but after seeing the pictures of the wonderful setup you guys
have, I'm going to have get another job, it looks like!
I do have one question: how does a get-together like that work? does everyone
bring their own models to contribute to the larger town? Or is it all built by
a few people? I'd be interested in joining a LUG...if there was one within
reasonably distance of Tallahassee, Fla. (I know there's one in Atlanta, but
that's nearly 5 hours away...).
Anyway, thanks, and keep up the EXCELLENT work!

Welcome to the dark side, Tim. I am there myself! : )

Well, we have been planning this layout out since January, using track
designer. We then see what people want to bring, and we design the layout
around that. We have tweaks and such, and then we lay it out like we planned
it. We usually have a few things we would like to see, but overall, it is
just a combination of various peoples creations.

Absolutely incredible, folks- the bar keeps going up. As I look at our
displays and all the pictures of other clubs' displays, I get this crazy
picture of what a show will have to look like 2 years from now to still draw
attention. Yikes- I don't think I can afford that!
Very nice show, and I'm quite impressed by all the pretty pictures from all
of you.
