The 8376 RC Racer Radio Shack Exclusive is in Canadian Radio Shacks for $119.00.
It looks like it has many of the key RC components of the 8375 for about 33%
cheaper.

Thanks for the news Calum!
However, the 8376 has one key difference from the 8475 (not 8375):
<http://guide.lugnet.com/set/8475>
it doesn't have the auxiliary 3rd output on the receiver.
Instead, the paddles on the bottom of the transmitter are used
to get the car to do a "spin-out".

It is cheaper than the 8475, but you lose the auxiliary channel.  If one has no
intention of using the aux channel (battlebots weapons, transmissions), then it
is a better deal as a LEGO Technic R/C car, otherwise the 8475 or 8366
<http://guide.lugnet.com/set/8366> are better sets IMHO.

Has anyone actually seen this set in Toronto yet?

John
