And it was a thread full of thoughtful points from a spectrum of POV’s.
And the final chapter - 23 years after this glorious thread - to wrap it all up
- the kid is back in Cuba and running for office.

1 - posting from a country considered by some who posted in O-T.D as akin to
Cuba, and currently the ‘Freedom Convoy’ ignorant malcontents always compare our
current PM to Castro. Coincidence? I wonder.

At a time when all non-idiots worldwide are taking action to limit the

spreads false information to create the idiot illusion that the
idiot-in-chief Trump is anything but a complete and catastrophic failure in
every possible way.
Nevertheless, career idiot Ron Paul still manages to distinguish himself by
preemptively dismissing the disease which his idiot son has now contracted.
Idiot Rand Paul (Libertarian pretender who loves socialism for himself and
for his fellow rich idiots) made sure, incidentally, to exercise in the gym
with his Senate buddies and swim in the Senate pool while awaiting the
results of his test, which naturally came back positive.
So the idiot doesn’t fall far from the idiot.
I don’t believe in karma, but I can certainly find satisfaction in seeing
idiots having to face their idiocy. Of course, being idiots, they won’t
accept reality and will instead offer all manner of rationalization to
explain (to themselves) why they’re not idiots.
But they’re idiots.

Wow, both of my most favorite Daves are *still* active in Lugnet/dabate. How
wonderful is that? :-)

Well, “active” might be a bit of an optimistic overstatement, but I certainly
peek in from time to time.
Still, I’m happy to learn that my favorite Selçuk is still around!
