As you may know, many of my older custom kits are now 'retired", having sold
as many as the limited edition run was announced to be. You can still build
them using the instructions on my Instructions CD #1, but gathering the
parts (especially for the larger models like the Hospital at over 2000
pieces) can be quite a job. I offer the service of gathering those parts for
you, but it's more expensive than the original kit just because of the time
involved for me to do it.
Having had several enquiries for these parts packs just recently, I've put
together a list of the prices for parts packs for my retired kits.
What you would get with a parts pack is:
All the pieces for the kit
Any custom stickers which came with the original kit
A bonus of Instructions CD #1 if you don't already have it (with the
instructions for that kit plus all the other retired ones)
What you don't get:
The fancy box and numbered certificate
Printed instructions (although I can do them for you at my cost of printing)
Here's the interesting thing: BL prices have come down so much that for the
larger kits, if 2 or more people order a parts pack for the same kit I can
do it for the original kit price! Here are the prices, with the original kit
price in parentheses:
