Frank, being a fellow IBM'er I hate to hear these things. My group just went
through a major re-org but so far nobody has been let go. Unfortunately I work
at home and the rest of my team is in Santa Teresa CA and Austin TX and I don't
know if they are looking for people at the moment.

Well, I will clear up one major misconception here in that your perception that
Boston isn't as much of a LEGO hotbed is way off target. In the last 2 weeks
we have had 4 meetings. Our problem right now is that we are working on a
major project that requires some amount of restraint when it comes to posting
publicly. Therefore most of our discussions in recent times have been taken
off line. Come sometime in March/April we will be able to make this project
public, and it will knock your socks off, but until then NELUG is pretty much
working off-line.

| Well, my project at IBM just got axed today. We have 30 days to find a new job within IBM and a decent severance package after that. I still plan on attending BricksWest and local events in the next few weeks (I think I will be coming up to Richmond (...)
