Re: March 10, 2002 Lego Day at Fundy Geo Museum Nova Scotia

(...) Hi Jean-Marc, Getting together sounds great, but I'm working on a tight budget and Lego related stuff has been cut way back lately. I won't be making it to a meeting this year, but I will keep future events in mind. I think I'm the only AFOL (...)   March 10, 2002 Lego Day at Fundy Geo Museum Nova Scotia

Hello everyone, I just want to inform you all that there will be a "Hurray for Lego" again in the Fundy Geological Museum in Parrsboro, Nova Scotia this year during the March Break. (URL) really want to meet all of you there and have our first (...) (22 years ago, 7-Feb-02, to lugnet.loc.ca, lugnet.loc.ca.nb, lugnet.loc.ca.nf, lugnet.loc.ca.ns, lugnet.loc.ca.pe)

  Re: Canadian Lurkers

(...) Especially seeking Newfoundland lurkers... I'm out here on my own as far as I know. It's a long swim to the nearest AFOLs in Halifax! I wonder if 'province' could be shown in the member pages for us the same way 'state' is for the US? Cheers, (...) (23 years ago, 17-Aug-01, to lugnet.loc.ca, lugnet.loc.ca.nf)

  Leaving back to Victoria

Howdy all, I'm going/coming back to Victoria. I'll be off line for a bit (if you are wondering where I am). I should be posting again in ~3 weeks or so. For those of you who care, my Email stays the same (from here) James (23 years ago, 7-May-01, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.loc.ca.bc.vic, lugnet.loc.ca.nf, lugnet.loc.ca.nf.stj)

Re: Newfoundbrick Ferry Services: S.S. Grey Line

(...) Hi Heather, The S.S. Grey Line is a mix of both Newfoundland and B.C. Ferry's. I built this one and a slightly smaller one (in height) for a Train Line that I have, called Grey Line Transport. The Train Ferry holds three sections of track. The (...) (23 years ago, 21-Mar-01, to lugnet.town, lugnet.loc.ca.nf)

Re: Newfoundbrick Ferry Services: S.S. Grey Line

(...) Rick, it's great to see a post from the "mystery Newfoundlander"! From the size I'd say it's more like the Hamilton Sound, one of the spares that are used anywhere in the province to replace boats gone for repair. (I'm trying to find a picture (...)   2001 Lego

Heather, the new Lego is here (didn't get any though...it doesn't seem all that great for town buildings) at least what the Zellers on Stvanger drive has (Studios-Temple of Gloom, Cameraman, Mars- 2 Mecha, the solar flyer, no new SW that I saw) For (...)   Re: What do you listen too while building?

(...) Ugh! I rent, and if we had anyone living beside us, they can complain about the paper walls (I live in a 1950's US built rowhouse right now...it's kind of -thin- on the insulation...) (...)   Re: Interest in Martimes LUG (MARLUG)?

(...) Unfortunatly, speaking for one of the other NFLD'rs (Heather P), I doubt either of us could make it off the rock (unless someone has a connection with $100 trips off this rock!)...   Would the owner of NEWFOUNDBRICK please stand up?

Just noticed this Brickbay store run by a Newfoundlander. It's not me, and it's not James Powell, so there must be a third Lego fan in the province - hurray! Please let us know who you are, and if you're in St. John's or nearby maybe we can all get (...) (24 years ago, 16-Jul-00, to lugnet.loc.ca.nf)

  Re: TRU Sale!

(...) Nope, no Falcon or UCS stuff (which I'm looking for) here in Vancouver, but the store at Lansdowne Mall in Richmond had 3 or 4 4561 Railway Expresses for $159.99 - 20% (plus 14% tax) so that's a decent deal... Oh, and most of the new (...) (24 years ago, 11-Jun-00, to lugnet.loc.ca.nf)
