4726 Quidditch Practice, $22.95 Kmart, $24.95 S@H
Quiddich Practice: 128 for $24.95, or 19.5 cents per piece

I disagree, there are some *very* nice parts in this set. Light grey 2x2
roof peaks (previously extremely hard to get), tan 2x2 roof peaks (not
available before AFAIK), green 2x2 roof corners (ditto), and several
always-useful pieces in light grey - brick hinges, 2x2 tiles, a minifig
seat, and 2x2 round bricks. Not to mention all the light grey and green 1x2
standard bricks.

How many green corners? I saw only one in the picture. There used to be a
cardinal Lego design rule that you get an even number of pieces like this,
or matched sets like in car doors.

It was that grey roof peak issue that triggered my landslide selling off of
Lego. Last night I discovered I own a 2x2 inside a Gungan Sub.

Anyway it looks like only one tan and one grey in Quidditch. They remain
rare but fundamental parts of the system.

This set also has the 1x1 round plate in gold, definitely new and very cool!

Does this set follow the standard practice of including an extra 1x1 round
of each colour 1x1 used? (Or did they adjust their sorting machine for this
instance?)

Cheers

Not only does it contain only one golden snitch, but the one it does
contain comes carefully packaged in the "box" the capes come in (I was
beginning to get upset when I opened my set and couldn't find the
snitch anywhere-- I was going to call customer service before I opened
the polybags so I could send them to them in case they thought I was
snitching the snitch, so to speak-- but then I felt a lump in the
cape box.  Whew.)
