Just got my press email for the Star Wars Weekend

WHAT: LEGOLAND® California is transforming into another planet for the
first-ever LEGOLAND Star WarsTM Weekend. Guests can pose with a life-size LEGO®
Chewbacca, Darth Vadar or R2D2. Young Jedi’s can meet LEGO Star WarsTM product
designer, Hans Henrik Sidenius, rub elbows with true Star WarsTM fans from the
501st Legion of Stormtroopers, build with the new LEGO Star WarsTM line, test
out the new LEGO Star WarsTM: the Video Game for X-Box and see the first viewing
of “LEGO Star WarsTM: Revenge of the Brick” – an animated mini-movie celebrating
the upcoming release of “Star WarsTM Episode III – Revenge of the Sith.”
WHEN:
Saturday, April 30 – Sunday, May 1, 2005.
Park hours: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Weekend visual highlights:
- Star WarsTM costumed characters from the 501st Legion.
- Scavenger Hunt in Miniland USA – Guests who find all the LEGO Stormtrooper
mini-figures will receive a collectible Episode III poster and commemorative
brick.
- Star Destroyer Building Competition – Adult fans of LEGO attempt to beat the
current World Record time in building the gigantic LEGO Star Destroyer Model.
Event occurs at 1:30 p.m. both days.
- Sneak Preview of the LEGO Star WarsTM Mini Movie – 11:30 a.m., 1:15 p.m. and
3:30 p.m.

| (...) I'd like to pass along something to those who do not have a park pass. You may want to pick up one of the bigger local So Cal newspapers and keep an eye out for a $12 off coupon. In today's San Diego Union-Tribune, in the "Night & Day" weekend (...) (19 years ago, 28-Apr-05, to lugnet.legoland.california)
