Firstly, I am looking for advice as to what sort of sticker paper to use (and where to buy it here in Australia).

And secondly, I am looking for advice as to how to print to it to get matches for LEGO colors (i.e. what values to use in the paint program to get colors to match LEGO bricks). The decals I am making are to be applied to some dark green bricks and will contain white and red printing.

Any advice would be appreciated.

There was a recent discussion about this on the Trains-n-Town website: http://www.trains-n-town.com/forum/viewtopic.php?showtopic=504

Basically, I’ve used the RGB values from the ldraw.org color chart, printed on regular white mailing labels as a base, then modified till the color came close. There are more details in the discussion above though.

I’d also be interested in other’s experiments with this, as I’m still trying to match colors better myself.
