If there is somebody to organize the money collecting (maybe one person for the
US and one in Germany to reduce the money transfer costs?), then I would love
to join.

| THOUGHT: Who is most likely to buy these old/rare sets? US. AFOL from in the community. LUGNETers. Why not just donate the money directly to the Red Cross via credit card on their web ite, or put money into the PayPal donation account on their (...) (23 years ago, 13-Sep-01, to lugnet.general)

| Hello, there were a lot of posts here about LUGNET members looking for a sign of life of others, believed to be in NYC. I am not sure if everyone has replied yet. Some of the names are from people I have dealed with, either through LUGNET or eBay (...) (23 years ago, 13-Sep-01, to lugnet.general) !!
