Honestly, do you guys/gals think that a 100 piece MOC should get the same
response as a 1000 piece MOC?

Maybe, if it is really good, but most likely not.

Should it get as much discussion? Obviously not. But perhaps it's
actually a more worthy model. Just this weekend, I saw Mike Walsh's new
buildings, and sure they're big. They look nice on the outside. And
they're empty shells. I was much more impressed by Sheree Rosenkrantz's
rebuilding of a small Time Cruisers set to fit a Fabuland figure.

Not only that, do you guys/gals think that a model which is build studs-on-top
(SOT), should get the same level of praise as a model which is build
studs-not-on-top (SNOT)?

No.

Praise is a complex subject. It's important to give praise at every
level. Otherwise, all of us should go crawl under a rock, for NONE of us
here has done diddly compared to the top achievers in the world.

How many of you have an older sibling? Think about how your life would
have been if your parents had not given you praise unless you did
something at the same or better level than your older sibling (oh, I
know you got an A+ in Algebra I, but Johnny got an B+ in Calculus II).
