A totally new section is already in the works and will be added in January.
It's called StudWars and it will be fully interactive, very humoristic and
highly entertaining!  It's a mix of LPC, Top 10, and, well, everything >else :-)
But I can't tell you more right now...

In January?   Well, January came earlier this year :-)

Indeed, StuWars is now online!  It's fully operational and you can already vote
and write your comments about the first ever StudWars combat :

JarJar/Timmy vs. Justin/Kelly : Who's worse?

http://www.minifigville.com/studwars

The idea is quite simple.  Every month, we will have a new war between different
opponents.  One of the opponents will always be a Minifig or a LEGO set, or
anything LEGO-related, thus the name "Stud"Wars.  Why they are fighting and what
it is about will be different also.  This time, it's a war to see who's the
lamest.  Next time, it might be to know who'd win a street fight between Johnny
Thunder and Indiana Jones, or wh'os the greates wiz between Majisto, Gandalf,
Dumbledore, Merlin or Yoda (well, Yoda isn't really a wiz, but he'd kick butts
anyway :-) )

At the end of every month, we will show you the best comments people have
submitted to us.  The best comment will also be highlighted.

Seems familiar?  Well, as for most other ideas on MinifigVille, this idea was
"borrowed" or inspired if you prefer by another website.  StudWars is inspired
by http://www.grudge-match.com/current.html

StudWars is highly interactive.  You don't only get to vote for the winner, but
you can say what happens or why you voted for him/her/it.

Not that we are short of ideas for future wars, but if you have any good
suggestion for an upcoming StudWars, send it to terry@minifigville.com.  The
best ideas often come from visitors and I appreciate the input.  In fact, I try
as much as possible to use the ideas people send me.

I hope you like StudWars!  I can tell you that it's already one of my favorite
sections, and it barely started!  It will be a lot of work for me, much more
than LPC or Top10 for example, but I'm sure it will pay off!

I can't wait to read all the funny and original submissions you'll write at
Studwars!

Terry,

I can't read the text. The background colour is so dark that the text melts into
it without killing my eyes. Can you change it?

Alan

PS Great idea BTW.

What browser do you use?  On IE, the text is, as supposed, white on a dark green
background.  It's fairly easy to read.

My guess is you use an old browser or a browser that doesn't support some tags.
In ny case, have you tried selecting the text with your pointer devide (mouse)
to read it?  The fansite that have spoilers, like TheForce.net about StarWars,
use a white text on white background so you can't read it by accident.  You can
however read it easily just by selecting the text, then the text jumps to your
eyes!

Anyway, tell me what system you have (PC or Mac) and your browser.  I'll see
what I can do from there....

Terry
