The Brickworld Team is excited to announce a slight schedule change for
Brickworld 2009. In place of the Speed Build that was to be held on Friday
night, we will be trying a new Combo Build event. The event will run from 7:00
pm until 8:30 pm.
30 Brickworld attendees will be selected to participate in this competition and
will be asked to do an alternate model build. The trick? You have to build your
alternate model from 3 LEGO kits. The best part...the contestants get to keep
their kits at the end of the event!!! Many thanks to The LEGO Group for
providing the kits for this competition. More details to be revealed at the
event. This should be an exciting twist on the old alternate model build.
We look forward to seeing you in Chicago when we light up the night with World
of Lights!!!
Regards, The Brickworld Team
Brickworld will be held June 18 - 21, 2009 at the Westin North Shore Hotel in
Wheeling, IL (a suburb of Chicago).

Can we lobby to be one of the thirty?
If so, consider me to be lobbying.

Here, here! What do you we have to do to become one of the elite 30? I suggest
picking the first 30 people who reply to this LUGNET topic!

Not sure if that's a good idea. But just in case... :)

| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | It will likely still involve putting your ticket[s] in the box for this event,
just like the last two years.

Jordan is correct.
There will be a fish bowl (or a shoe box) to drop your name/ticket into. The
drawing will be held at 6:30 PM Friday evening at the LEGO Company's display
area in the event hall. You must be present to win (or at least be
represented...you know we are flexible).
Sorry - but I don't believe I have seen 30 people reply to a Lugnet topic in
quite a while. Feel free to prove me wrong here.
See everyone in 2 weeks...wow, it is getting close!!! And, thanks to Dave for
posting the announcement for me.
Regards,
Bryan (yes, I know the email address says Adam...that's my little secret)

Yeah...we need some more life around this place. What better way than random
banter on a Brickworld thread. :-)

No problem B-ry. You're my homie...I got your back. :-)

That sounds like a dirty little secret to me. Let the rumor mill start
churnin'. ;-)
