Brickworld is pleased to announce that Mr. Richard Stollery - Head of the LEGO
Community Team - will be presenting the keynote address during the Brickworld
opening ceremony. Mr. Stollery will be coming from LEGO Headquarters in Denmark
along with several other LEGO representatives from both Denmark and the Enfield,
CT office.
We are very excited that LEGO has chosen play an active role in Brickworld.
Watch for additional announcements from Steve Witt regarding some LEGO led
activities at Brickworld...hint: show up Thursday night ready to build!!

Brickworld will be held June 21-24, 2007 at the Westin North Shore Hotel in
Wheeling, IL (a suburb of Chicago). Register soon to ensure there is room for
your creations to be displayed. There are a limited number of hotel rooms set

Didnt that speaker guy from BrickFest last year (Tormod somebody?) have the
same title (Head of Lego Community Team)?

Rafe - I dont remember if he did any speaking, but Tormod Askildsen was the
Head of Lego Community last August and he was at the event in DC. He has since
moved on (promoted I think) and Richard Stollery took over the job.
I think it will be neat to hear from a guy high up in LEGO that we havent
really heard from before. While he hasnt provided a specific topic that he
will be discussing, I am certain that it will involve how LEGO and AFOLs and the
community in general can continue to benefit from working together.
