    the 6088 set —Nan Zhou
Why is the 6088 Robber's Retreat called that if it only has one funky robber minifig but 2 ninjas and a samurai guy? (24 years ago, 14-Mar-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: the 6088 set —Shiri Dori
(...) The black ninja is a robber according to the S@H catalog. Took me a while to get that, too ;-) -Shiri (24 years ago, 14-Mar-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: the 6088 set —Chris Roy
(...) A question: How exactly does one get a S@H catalog? Is it the tiny one included with some sets or another larger one? Chris (24 years ago, 14-Mar-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: the 6088 set —Shiri Dori
(...) No, this is a ~60 pg booklet with huge pics and detailed (sort of) descriptions, including prices and ordering info. To get it, call 1-800-453-4652 and ask for one to be sent to your addy. It's free (being a commercial :). Ordering from there, (...) (24 years ago, 14-Mar-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: the 6088 set —Chris Roy
(...) TRUs in Canada aren't what they are in the USA apparently. The only TRU anywhere near me has few lego aside from the Star Wars sets which they have in industrial quantaties. The Walmart near me has Time Twister sets on its shelves. The Bay, a (...) (24 years ago, 14-Mar-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: the 6088 set —Shiri Dori
(...) Well... I actually never go to TRUs - I don't drive (yet!) and the closest one to me is ~an hour drive. I often buy in KB (on sale of course - otherwise it's too expensive :) or in The Construction Site... a small, privately owned store. So (...) (24 years ago, 14-Mar-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: the 6088 set —Jonathan Wilson
(...) Dont forget that they are the only place in the US outside of s&h to get things like the train washer set and that snowplough set (AFAIK) -- Jonathan Wilson wilsonj@xoommail.com (URL) (24 years ago, 14-Mar-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: the 6088 set —Matthew Wilkins
Because the ninja and samurai have come to the Robber's Retreat to open up a can of painful memories on him. -Cheese (...) (24 years ago, 14-Mar-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: the 6088 set —Alan Gerber
(...) Well, it shouldn't be called Robber's Retreat if it had more than one robber, since the s in robber's is only there to show possesion of the retreat by the robber.. If it had more than one robber, it should be Robbers' Retreat, since the when (...) (24 years ago, 14-Mar-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: the 6088 set —Shiri Dori
(...) Well, TLC are ESLers like me so they should be given a break ;-) I'm not really given one ('specially not in english class!) but heck, let's be nice - maybe they'll decide to return a favor and rerelease Guarded Inn ;-) -Shiri FUT .o-t.fun (24 years ago, 14-Mar-00, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.off-topic.fun)

Re: the 6088 set —Bram Lambrecht
(...) Heck, English is my fourth language, but that doesn't mean I'm any good at speaking the other three (well, two actually. I forgot almost all the German I knew from ages 2.5-5.5) --Bram Bram Lambrecht / o o \ BramL@juno.com (...) (24 years ago, 14-Mar-00, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)
