An oasis provides a refreshing respite from the scorching desert dunes for the traveling caravan making their journey to the Western hemisphere.

Nicely done. I think the camels are pretty creatively done - looks like you might be able to use some 1x2 modified plates with single studs on the back to allow centering mounted riders, too. The whole scene is well-done.

I’m glad to see someone else pursuing historical Central/South Asian themes - I posted this MOC of an “Indian” fort (quotes b/c it’s not really an accurate recreation of anything, just an impressionistic creation) to Brickshelf some time back but never posted it here...

Would love to know if anyone else out there is trying to work on ideas like these - I’m trying to expand mine into the Sultanate of Brickistan, thinking of a dusty Central Asian capital from the mid-to-late 19th century.

The Zam Wessel head on the slave Leia torso is just plain genious! Off to dig mine out and make my own belly dancer!
