I do not know, if such a macro fits the rules but at least it should be ok
for challenge entry and not contest entry, since it shows, how povray
community work could be integrated in an own scenery.

Any macro is perfectly valid. If they do not have a copyright which allows
republication (such as Creative Commons or GFDL) then you must provide a link to
the macro if submitting as a contest entry.

And I stumbled over a macro by Gilles Tran which generates kind of snow on (...) (18 years ago, 4-Feb-06, to lugnet.cad.ray, FTX)
