Hello Vignettes fans!

I finally decided to take pictures of my first vignette, which was actually a test to see if I liked making these small wonders.

It’s been standing there next to my monitor for two months and all this time, I was saying to myself :”Terry, you should at lest take one picture to put on the web.” I thought it was neat to try to squeaze as much details I could in such a small format while still doind something beautiful. I think I achieved that goal.

Today, I decided not only to take pictures of the previous vignette, but to build another one. The idea behind my second vignette is based on the movie Joe versus the Volcano, starring Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan. Some of you may know that it’s one of my favorite movies (even though it’s not a grand movie) and some may even recall I did the poster when I had my website.

I don’t consider the second vignette as nice-looking as the first one and I might try to redo it eventually, but I think that I captured the essence of the scene I was recreating. Those who never saw this movie should run to their local videostore and rent it RIGHT NOW !!!

Constructive comments will be highly appreciated.

Terry

(...) Roger that. I think this movie is destined to be a classic. It's not a grand movie, as you say, but it's great. It makes fun of cliches in a cool way, there are some great bits, and Meg plays a lot of parts. Tom and Meg just have some sort of (...) (19 years ago, 15-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)
