Yes, I think it was bottomless :) In fact he used to joke that he lost his
finger when he let the end of it rest too long in his whiskey. But I think his
poison of choice may have been Irish whiskey ;)

I didn’t know he’d died though. Mind you, the great Fred Dibnah popped his
steam-powered clogs last year and I never knew... :-(
