Hey,
Congratulations Brendan! Even though I entered myself, I was rooting for
yours--great transition from the lighthearted fun down below to the very creepy
being overhead. My second favorite in the contest was Steve’s Great Pumpkin
entry. Great job all around and thanks to Nate and Nelson for sponsoring this.

Hey guys, thanks for the award, I’m honored. And thanks to all those who left
comments on the various blogs and forums out there, they’re all much
appreciated. There were a lot of great entries, and I wanted to give some
recognition to this
particular vignette I saw on Bruce’s blog which I guess was never entered. I
think I owe the creator, I’m sure if it was entered it would have taken the cake
no contest. Thank’s again!

Hey Brendan,
That is a really great vignette. I love how they constructed pumpkins from
plates and the unique roof design, especially. I don’t know who the builder is,
though, or whether or not they read lugnet.
