Hey Chris,

All three of your recent vigs are awesome. I’ll reply here because this one is my favorite. The way you’ve broken up the action over three levels is great (though I wonder about the logic of putting the “danger airlock” button in a different part of the ship than the actual airlock :) ). The fact that space is “down” is particularly nice as it goes against our general perceptions, but in a spinning space station, for instance, would be perfectly correct. The floating fig and helmet work very well.

The second Asphyxiate is nice as well. Seems like a Far Side cartoon. I especially like the vending machine design. My only complaint with this one is the flatness of the ground.

Clandestine is laid out extremely well. The placement of the figures and the angles of their arms as they pass the letter are great. You’re right to use the HP letter and not the town letter, as that would totally lose the “love note” feel. If I had one suggestion it would be to make the third figure female, which would suggest that the male fig was cheating on her with the woman behind the fence.

Anyway, great work. All blogged up.

Bruce

Here's another Bricktionary entry I completed today: "Asphyxiate". It's a vignette in three stories... (URL) ((URL) Clicky> to go to the Brickshelf Folder) It starts out with a Janitor maybe a bit too excited about finding a discarded candy bar, and (...)
