Hi all!

I’m back to building with LEGO again. To all the MOC posters, sorry for the lack of replies, but please know that I do check out everything that you build and greatly admire your creations. Now that it’s summer break, I’ll have more time to participate and reply to all the wonderful posts here on LUGNET, hopefully. ;-)

First off, I built a new mecha: “Rhino” Low-Level Air Defence Mecha. I was inspired by the Russian Tunguska M1 Low Level Air Defence System that I saw at the Army Technology website. Hope you guys like it.

Secondly, I finally completed and uploaded the .MPD file for my MTP mecha. You can find it here.

Well, looks like that’s all folks!

I really like this. You absolutely nailed the air-defense-vehicle look. Nice to see someone else using those white axles for miniguns. I have only one real critique, and that's the hatch. It looks a little cramped, so close to the big white radome. (...) (21 years ago, 27-Jun-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

(...) Welcome back! I was beginning to worry what happened to you. ;) Very sweet mecha, especially the white sensor gear. The smoke grenade launcher looks positively incredible, exactly like real ones. As always, the color scheme is perfect, with (...) (21 years ago, 27-Jun-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

(URL) (...) No way, cool! Classic Crawl Tank. Gotta love it. Whoa guns pointing everywhere! Neat toes, drawing white into the model in different places. Dig the way the pilot is in there. Nice! e (21 years ago, 27-Jun-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

(...) Very sweet. I dig the colors and the overall bulkiness of this beast. Like the chin(?) mounted turrets and the toes. The little fan-like bits on the sides of the cockpit reminded me of the Junon cannon from FFVII, for some reason... Cool! (...) (21 years ago, 27-Jun-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

(...) Such an elegant yet powerfull tank mecha! I have checked out your site regularly and wondered if you were still active. I really like the way you work out every detail in your designs. Thanks for this new one! Love, Sylvi (21 years ago, 28-Jun-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Woohoo! Welcome back! Like everything else you build, the Rhino looks like it could be something that roams the battlefield within the next 30 years. The feasibility of this design adds alot Great colours, the white is nice. As usual your weapon and (...) (21 years ago, 28-Jun-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Cool! Good to see you're back to building. I like this creation - something about it really does remind me of a rhino... I hope you're next model is a biped ;-) Later, Chris (21 years ago, 28-Jun-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
