This uses a basic click joint frame (based on Izzo’s and Nnenn’s click joint
frames), which was a pain due to my blocky style of building and resulting
heaviness. Next time I need to build smaller or learn to build lighter.

I don’t normally follow the .mecha group, but I saw this model posted on the
LUGNET front page, and I have to say that I really, REALLY like this mech.
Visually, it just seems to me to capture that anime spirit really well. (It
makes me think Gundam, but I’m not sure why.) And the photography skills of
whoever photographed it really help make it shine.
Based on your comments, it may be weak mechanically (and the stand seems to
imply this is the case). But visually at least, I think it looks great.
I’m really surprised that no one else has commented on it yet, especially since
it’s on the LUGNET front page.
