Hi fellow lego builders, I am currently working on my very own giant moveble mecha called Rizlitch. But I have run into a problem with the body to leg connection. I cant seem to connect this <http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=2047992> and this <http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=2047995> to this <http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=2063660> while still having rizlitch be able to stand and walk. If you have any solutions please tell me.   Lukas.

hi, if you loke at this folder i have made

http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=210518

you will see how i made it, you must use more turntables to acount for the wait,
and also wormtail gears

if you look here

http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=210517

you can see more on the anatomy of how you should be doing it
can`t wait to see the finished rizlitch

Hi Lukas,

for this size and weight you definitely need geared joints. Take a look at
what Ben and Eric suggested. Read this by Eric.

In addition read what Christopher Snead wrote on Mecha Hub.

And finally I’ve a few links of my own which might help:

A last tip is to try, try, try. We all do that know and then. It’s never as
easy as it looks in the finished MoC.

Have fun
Marco
