Ok, Now for the FUN!!!
New Mecha - Quadra-ped: Mr. Krinkle
Raw pictures right from the work desk.
Mr. Krinkle started as an idea to use the Canopies from the #4403
Air Blazers, Make and Create Set.
The head is built using a krinkle cut type staggered brick design.
So I name the new Mecha Mr. Krinkle; also the name of a song by the
Band Primus.
So there are no hinges or other SNOT techniques used to create the shape.
Just right angles.
As always, the Mecha sports an all Technic frame.
Throw Bot Gear Boxes at the upper shoulders and knees:
Star Wars AT-TE, ball and socket parts act suprisingly well at the ankles:
A really neat feature is the suspension at the upper shoulders:
I made the legs and body heavy in an attempt to get the suspension
to work along with the weight of the Mecha.
The Quadra-ped is strong and ridged.
Ill get more of those rotating click hinge arms from the
Mission Deep Sea set so I can legthen the tail.
Mr. Krinkle also features a Grand Opening Duplo Promo Brick built into the
hind-quarters on the Mecha.
Two Pilots:
Enjoy!
