I’m a bit disappointed because now I had to use 1 extra tyre to build this American truck:

I’m not sure if it has the right proportions of an American truck because I don’t see that many around overhere, so LMKWYT...

(Sorry for the extra part)

Hi Nathanael,

Looks great! There are some clever SNOT elements you’ve included with it. It’s really neat how you used the Wedge 4 x 4 x 2/3 Curved (see Peeron) to give contours to the sides instead of having flat “walls” on the sides. I also like how the chrome pieces provide some nice accented details.

I see many “American Trucks” on my way to and from work everyday and I think you’ve captured the form quite well.

This MOC reminds me of how much I can’t wait until 4883 is available for purchase in the US. I was disappointed today to see that it’s not in the new catalog. It looks like they’re going to make the US wait a long time for that one like they did with 4886.

As for using the extra part... no big deal. I think you’ve done enough amazing 100% alternate MOCs that it would be hard for anyone to complain about you using 1 extra piece :-). If I’m not mistaken, is that the same big tyre (or “tire” as us Yanks say) as the one in 4100 Maximum Wheels?

Regards, Paul
