FIDO, named after the drive mechanism that gave it life - the Four Independantly
Driven Outrigger system - is the very latest in recon and tracking specialty
mechanisms.
Mounted under the nose cowling is a highly sensitive olfactory sensor sweet.
This enables FIDO to track and find any target as long as a reference odour is
inputted into its program.
FIDO is now even easier to operate. With a sophisticated, yet elegantly simple,
voice command system and a rudimentary AI, the operator maintains perfect
control with a few firmly and confidently spoken commands.
FIDO is also fitted with a small cargo bay, where small, vital packages that
Must Get Through can be readily trusted to this speedy and agile little
mechanism.

Building notes: Yay. I finally found a use for those white domes. Ive had them
for a while and everthing I tried looked unnervingly familiar. I offset them
slightly and voila, a mech is born.
Yes, the bionicle legs look a bit sparse, but theyd look too bulky with
anything attached to them, and the poseability with them unadorned is a hoot.
Yes, the colour scheme is a bit haphazard. If I had all those parts in white Id
have used em. Ya builds with watchya gots.

| (...) Sit, Stay, sniff that mech's butt. This is great. I can't wait to see this at a show in the mecha display. sniffing things, raising a leg on other mechs, carrying a lego catalog to it's master. What fun. Mark Neumann Snow Daddy (21 years ago, 7-Oct-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

| Hey, how can I fault you if you want to build Snoopy as a mecha? This is a great model that shows off the versatility of the parts and the builder. Great job! When can we expect Woodstock? ;) -Dave (21 years ago, 12-Oct-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
