Hi!
Finally after more than a month, I think its time to present the result of this
project:
It probably has some similarities with the 8448 car, but its executed in the
nowadays technic style with new elements like the differential and wishbones.
All the modules like: frontsuspension, rearsuspension, (V12) engine, standard
5+1 gearbox, chairs, etc. are built on a unibody structure. Because of this it
should also be quite easy to customize the model.
Choices can already be made for engine in the front or back and front wheel or
rear wheel drive. New modules might be something for the future...

Fabulous work!!!
From the bottom I see two driving rings near the front and rear differentials.
These are used to tweak the motor assemble position and the front/rear drive
options. Correct!?
Something more for my TechnicBRICKs posting queue... :-)
Still hope TLG to release a new SuperCar soon, for our delight...

Thanks Philo!
It's nice to know that the new parts are there, but so far I have no plans for
an Ldraw model. It would take me quite some time, especially with all those
weird angles that you get in many Technic models.

The driving rings have nothing to do with the engine, which is a separate unit
and can be placed either in the front or back, just like with the 8448. The
driving rings are there to change to front wheel or rear wheel drive, but has to
be activated manually.

I hope so too, but in the years Ive worked for TLG the idea of a new supercar
was rejected several times. Thats one of the reasons why I wanted to create one
myself after I left there. Hopefully we will see one from TLG anytime soon...
