This year at BrickFest in Portland we will be doing something a little
different. We will attempt to display every single Space set, 1979-1999,
Classic through Insectoids, in one giant and beautiful layout.
So we need you to bring a few of your stock space sets with you. Bring them
built or build them when you get there, but we want to have the display finished
by noon on Saturday March 30th. It should be pretty impressive, covering close
to 200 square feet of baseplate.
I’ll bring the buildings, the monorail and the baseplates, plus a map of where
everything will go. And since I’m darn tootin’ close to space complete myself,
I’ll fill in sets that no one signs up for. But there is no way I’m bringing
220+ sets down to Portland myself, so I need your help!
Register your vehicle or vessel by going to
www.auctionbrick.com/mchiles/spacelist.htm and checking to see that the vessel
or vehicle hasn’t already been taken. Then email me at the address from this
post, minus the spam-be-gone, and I’ll reserve your spots. Register for as many
sets as you want!
And don’t forget to register for Brickfest at www.brickfest.com! See you in
Portland...

PS - bring your sets, because frankly mine are in terrible condition because
they lived in a sunbeam behind single pane windows in an unheated barn for years
while I was a kid, when they were not being taken on abusive expeditions around
the horse pasture whenever I got a spare minute!

| (...) Matt-- I am willing to help, except I may not be able to be there Sunday to pick anything up. (It's Palm Sunday, and I may be singing at my church that day.)
