Classic-Castle.com CheckMate Chess Contest!
What is the Classic-Castle... ugh... C6 Contest? I’m glad you asked!
Category 1: Chess Piece
Create a single chess piece, any medieval style theme. This would include
Castle, Ninja, Ancients, etc.
Category 2: Chess set
Create all 16 pieces needed for one Chess faction. This includes 8 pawns, 2
rooks, 2 knights, 2 bishops, 1 queen and 1 king. Any medieval style theme is
allowed.

Well, rats. I was about to propose a Chess Set contest, but I would have
proposed it with no restrictions on theme. Medieval themes would of course have
been well represented, but I think we would have seen some interesting entries
in other genres too, such as Space, Pirates, Robots, and so on.
I suppose we could still have a more wide-open contest, and let participants in
the Classic-Castle.com one submit their entries to both...
