Hi,

This will probably be my last post for a while, because in a week I’ll be moving to LEGO Denmark to help developing things for next year. I hope to design a great model in return for all your supporting and helping comments for the past few years. Without this support I never would have made it this far!

I’d like to give special thanks to a few persons who always have shown their personal interest and shared their ideas: Paul D’Urbano Eric Sophie Joe Meno Nathan Bell Paul Boratko Thanks guys and of course all the other persons who have helped me in any way!

My first model will probably be for sale at shop@home later this year: Hot pursuit, grand prize winner of the LEGO Factory contest.

This also would not have happened without your support! Thanks again!!

Nate,

it’s been a real pleasure getting to know you online. I’m very happy to see you take off and am honored by your mentioning me.

And I’m really happy that you are going to do what you wanted - congratulations! And yes, I will be buying your set!

Have fun, and drop a line here withthe stuff you can tell us :-)!

Awesome Nathanael!

As you have proven time and again with your creations, there is no one more deserving to be a master builder than you. Hopefully now we can get some (official) instructions for your alternate models. ;)

Best of luck. I’m anxiously looking forward to your first official set and I can’t wait to purchase your Lego Factory creation.

Regards,

Andy Evans

Nathanael,

Congratulations!!! And, I think we should be congratulating TLC, too. You’re a terrific builder and I’m sure you’ll contribute great things to the LEGO line. It’s been wonderful sharing in my LEGO fun with you and I’m glad to know you thanks to LUGNET. TLC made the right move for sure.

Now, whatever LEGO models you get to work on, each set better also make one kick-butt awesome alternate model!!!! ;-) I can’t imagine there being an official Nathanael Kuipers LEGO set if there isn’t something jaw-dropping on the back of the box, too! :-)

I’m so excited for you and excited to know that in the future I’ll be able to add sets to my collection that were made possible by your talents. And of course, I already know I’ll be buying your LEGO Factory set as soon as it comes out.

Best of Luck and Sincerest Wishes for Great Things!

-Paul

Hi Joe,

We’ll have to wait how things will work out, but if it’s possible I’ll try to drop a line sometimes. We still have our little plan, which hopefully will surprise and stimulate people. ;) I’m honored and excited that you’ve chosen me for this cooperation!

Thanks Scott,

I’ll do my best to make both TLC and AFOLs happy. If they give me an e-mail account, I’ll probably let you know (if that’s allowed)

Thank you so much Paul for your kind words! I’ll do my best for all of you. I’m not sure what exactly they want me to build at TLC, so we’ll have to wait if I am allowed to build both main models and alternates..

My first goal is convincing TLC that they have made a good choice... We’ll see what happens next.

Who wants to bet that Nate will bring us the next REAL Technic Supercar?

I have seen this coming for quite some time. And I am extremely happy for you(And us :)

I also promise to purchase anything that you are involved with, even if it has nothing to due with my taste in that perticular Lego aspect. I will buy out of Respect to you.

Please keep in touch through e-mail if you can. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for all of us!

I would also like to wish you good luck, but in all honesty, I really don’t think that you need it. With your Skill, you don’t need any luck. As a matter of fact you’ll probably make quite a few “Experts” and “Master Builders” very envious.

But then again, that is probably why you landed that dream job.

If you can take one piece of my friendship with you, take this...

Be Reasonable, Demand the Impossible!

Live by it.

Take care my good friend.

Way to go! your single set creations have been an inspiration to me, and you have a great talent for seeing the limitless-ness in inventive constructions in what many see as ‘limited-piece-builds’. That is the dominant strength you will bring to the Lego Co., and to us again through the sets you’ll be designing. I hope you’ll be working on the designer/creator series (maybe you can get them to re-release the new red car set with the 6th wheel! :) .) how about a generic space, castle or pirate creator set? kinda like the pod racer bucket; it had a theme, but was more open ended than other specific star wars sets. i figure the other designer sets suggested themes tend to be town-oriented, so the other ‘big’ core themes could be explored. Thank you for your great contributions & congradulations on your new job!
