Very impressive!!! My favorite bits:
The French doors made from classic 1x2x2 windows:

Who needs inside corner slopes?:

Great color combos:

Making the new roadplates cool:

Architectural detailing:

More white goblets than I have ever seen before:

Well, actually, I like just about everything. Its a beautiful model. Is it a
light yellow building and sand green roof? How did you get all those bricks in
those colors? The ONE thing I didnt *love* was the tree:

But this is definately a contender for model of the year!!!

Hello, Holger,
Thanks for sharing Rainer Kaufmanns amazing MOC with us! Rainer has posted
here before. I wonder why he didnt mention this MOC himself?
Anyway, this is an overwhelming model. There are far too many interesting
details to count, so I will just give my kudos for a few that stood out for me.
1) The coat of arms above the entry. 2) The fountains. 3) The amazing tiled
floors. 4) The clever greenhouses, with the potted orange trees that get moved
indoors during the winter.
Cheers,
John Ladasky

I've said it before and I'll say it again. You are one of the most talented
builders out there! Bravo! I can't express what I feel when I see this. All I
can say at this moment is you make your fellow builders proud.

Very impressive. In structure it is very grand, In scale it is enormous ,and in
detail, it is magnificent. This is the best thing that Ive seen all year.
Thank you for sharing this with us. I really really enjoy it. A wonderful Job.

I tried to do so, but got into technical problems. I signed up as a member some
time ago, and it seems, the news server kicked me out of his list then. However,
I couldnt post my announcement yesterday. Holger was so kind to take over for
me :o)

Wonderful stuff !! Hats off to Rainer for the MOC and thanks for sharing the
posting Homa. I really like the coat of arms decal (I think?) and the entrance
to the hotel. Looking forward to future work. KK Quah

As everyone else has stated, it is amazing, and you should be very proud. It
reminds me of so many places I have visited in europe, that I became misty eyed.
The fountain... the tiles... the detail... the scale... everything knocked me
away.
But the most surprising is the fact that you took a colour that I previously
disliked (light yellow) and with a single stroke of your brush have converted me
into a fan. I never reliazed how pleasing to the eye that colour can be when
used in the right combination, and look forward with experimenting with it.
once again, the bar has been rasied.
