A new group/list for personal announcements of "MOC"s ("my own creations")
has just been created, the purpose being to focus these types of announcements
and offload them out of the main lugnet.announce group, which was never
intended for announcements of MOCs. Compared to the main lugnet.announce
group, lugnet.announce.moc is likely to experience relatively higher traffic.
Feel free to crosspost to lugnet.announce.moc when you post also to a theme-
specific group announcing a new creation. (When doing this, followups must
directed away from the announcements group in order for your post to be
accepted.)
Now you can post about your latest and greatest to an announcements group
without having to worry about whether or not you're breaking the group's
charter. And you can have this new group delivered directly to your email
inbox (see below) at your choice of intervals if you desire weekly, daily,
or even hourly doses of great new stuff that people are building!
Note: DO NOT post announcements of MOCs to the main lugnet.announce group.

General-interest announcements to the community (breaking news about
products, releases, contests, events, and sites, etc.); also, important
LUGNET information (new features, services, scheduled downtime, etc.);
NOTE: the following are not appropriate: auction announcements,
commercial advertisements, new-user introductions, questions, test-
postings, and announcements of creations or "MOC"s.

Personal announcements of personal creations ("MOC"s). This is where
you can tell everyone about your latest and greatest models, creations,
minifig characters, etc. NOTE: do not post announcements of personal
creations in the main lugnet.announce group.
