   Here is the question:

What would be your LEGO Dream Set?

How ‘bout a few sets containing 5-6 themed minifigs retailing for $4.99?

You do it with magnets already...........

I second that. 6 firefighters, 6 police, 6 construction workers, etc. the town/train fans would buy them up, as well as my kids ;) Darren

Really? I find that surprising. One of the standard criticisms of the LEGO range is how many fire, police etc sets there are... I’m surprised anyone is really crying out for six more police, or six more firefighters, or even six more construction workers.

I would have thought that sets of figs such as town workers or train passengers would be far more popular (with AFOLs at least).

Cheers

I agree. The biggest criticism of late from what I hear is that Town (the theme) only seems to have police, fire, or construction figs these days....why is it that the only thing happening in Town is fires and crime? How about diversifying town beyond your average police/fire/construction worker and maybe going back to some of the older, more diversified town populations? Not saying we should have another gas station, or even another restaurant, but Town has only focused on fire, rescue, police and construction lately.

How about more female figs?

Yup. A set of black-suited figs with various wig colors; brown suits, navy suits, etc. We need more faceless commuters:-)

What about a set of six LEGO ambassador figs with some rubber-tipped technic projectiles and the thing that shoots them ?

well, honestly, when I go to the local hobby store with the kids, I usually tell them they have $5, or $10 to spend each. they always go to the playmobil isle in the end, because they can buy 2 or three sets, with a figure or two in each one. it doesn’t really matter what theme they are, they just want more people, with accesories, and animals, lots of horses. While Town desperately needs diversification, figure packs would help ‘flesh out’ what already exists. What kind of construction site consists *only* of drivers, operators, and foremen? Those shovels & pickaxes aren’t going to swing themselves!

Lets make some shops (we'll let Mel Caddick/Brown/Krutzfeldt design them).
