Hello gang! Here is finally a working GBC module ferris wheel made out of ZNAP. After many reflexions, I wanted to put at a good use some of my ZNAP pieces. Nice idea! :) If I may, a suggestion: remove the front supports and replace with some internal triangular bracing if possible, then you can store notes and other things underneath the lappy - good on you for using znap as well, the ugly (...) A year back I got a new laptop. One of the first things I noticed was how close it was to the table surface and how little air got to the bottom side for cooling. A couple of design attempts yielded this platform, which yields a vary cool running (...) (18 years ago, 26-Nov-06, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build, lugnet.znap, FTX) !!

I've been thinking, there's gotta be some way one could adapt one or two of those hailfire droid wheels for a turntable assembly, like for a crane project or to build a rotating restaurant on top of. The other night, I started exploring what uses can be made of the big gear wheel from the Hailfire Droid. Having plenty of ZNAP beams handy, I used a few of them as a gear box to hold the wheel. This is a little project that I have been putting spare minutes into. It has independant front and rear steering. The steering (at the momment) is controlled by two sticks.
