Anybody notice that LEGO left out a vast majority of LEGO product from the 2001 catalog that was released in the calender year 2000? There is not a single Town set shown, the 2000 Star Wars sets are not present, to name a few. What happened? Is it (...) (24 years ago, 17-Dec-00, to lugnet.year.2001)

The 48x48 gray baseplate got a new number once. I was able to buy several hundred at clearance prices because they had the old discontinued number on them. I would hardly call them re-released, though. Mike Poindexter Erik Olson <olsone@spamcop.net> (...) (24 years ago, 15-Dec-00, to lugnet.admin.database, lugnet.general, lugnet.year.2001, lugnet.duplo)

Ah Cool, so that is what it does. I was trying to discern from the pictures. The local TRU didn't have the big set. I picked up the two Mechs & the Tri-Trike or whatever it is called. I love the mechs. I'm going to have to get some more. And with (...) (24 years ago, 14-Dec-00, to lugnet.year.2001, lugnet.space)
