Re: TLC re-releasing discontinued LEGO Duplo set!

The 48x48 gray baseplate got a new number once. I was able to buy several hundred at clearance prices because they had the old discontinued number on them. I would hardly call them re-released, though. Mike Poindexter Erik Olson <olsone@spamcop.net> (...)   Re: Battlestar Galactica on Mars?

(...) Yeah, the neatest thing about it is that you can send the martian either direction by rotating the air pump. And there are three possible tubes to send the carrier in and you can send up one and down another all without having to remove the (...)   Re: Battlestar Galactica on Mars?

Ah Cool, so that is what it does. I was trying to discern from the pictures. The local TRU didn't have the big set. I picked up the two Mechs & the Tri-Trike or whatever it is called. I love the mechs. I'm going to have to get some more. And with (...) (24 years ago, 14-Dec-00, to lugnet.year.2001, lugnet.space)

  Re: Battlestar Galactica on Mars?

I have seen all of the Mars sets and think they all rock! I am really impressed with the station. You can actually use an air pump to shoot a single martian laying flat in a little carrier through several tubes. I have had trouble tearing myself (...)   Re: TLC re-releasing discontinued LEGO Duplo set!

Town sets from 1978 got new dates when their packaging was changed. They weren't discontinued, just refreshed. (24 years ago, 14-Dec-00, to lugnet.admin.database, lugnet.general, lugnet.year.2001, lugnet.duplo)

Re: TLC re-releasing discontinued LEGO Duplo set!

(...) I guess it all depends on how you define a discontinued set, and even what constitutes a re-release (and does a set have to be discontinued to be re-released?). If we define a set with more than one copyright date as a re-release, then there (...) (24 years ago, 14-Dec-00, to lugnet.admin.database, lugnet.general, lugnet.year.2001, lugnet.duplo)

Answer to this question Yes Here in the UK i have found a few Technic Kits have been release again with different packaging and Dates E.g.   Re: Battlestar Galactica on Mars?

So far I love the little martian sets.. the mechs are wonderful. But I'm finding that I'm having a hard time bringing myself to spend $50 and $90 for the larger sets when they don't look terribly interesting. Does anyone have an opinion on them? (...)   TLC re-releasing discontinued LEGO Duplo set!

Hi all, although we shouldn't be optimistic becuase the small fact I found out today, I still can't wait to tell you about it! Today, I *might* have found the very first re-released discontinued set ever. It's nothing important IMHO as it's been (...)
