  Re: Battlestar Galactica on Mars?

Ah Cool, so that is what it does. I was trying to discern from the pictures. The local TRU didn't have the big set. I picked up the two Mechs & the Tri-Trike or whatever it is called. I love the mechs. I'm going to have to get some more. And with (...) (24 years ago, 14-Dec-00, to lugnet.year.2001, lugnet.space)

  Re: Battlestar Galactica on Mars?

I have seen all of the Mars sets and think they all rock! I am really impressed with the station. You can actually use an air pump to shoot a single martian laying flat in a little carrier through several tubes. I have had trouble tearing myself (...)   Re: TLC re-releasing discontinued LEGO Duplo set!

Town sets from 1978 got new dates when their packaging was changed. They weren't discontinued, just refreshed. (24 years ago, 14-Dec-00, to lugnet.admin.database, lugnet.general, lugnet.year.2001, lugnet.duplo)

Re: TLC re-releasing discontinued LEGO Duplo set!

(...) I guess it all depends on how you define a discontinued set, and even what constitutes a re-release (and does a set have to be discontinued to be re-released?). If we define a set with more than one copyright date as a re-release, then there (...) (24 years ago, 14-Dec-00, to lugnet.admin.database, lugnet.general, lugnet.year.2001, lugnet.duplo)

Re: TLC re-releasing discontinued LEGO Duplo set!

Answer to this question Yes Here in the UK i have found a few Technic Kits have been release again with different packaging and Dates E.g. Take the following set 8852 - I have 2 different Box's to this kit, one is dated 1986 and the other i will (...)   Re: Battlestar Galactica on Mars?

So far I love the little martian sets.. the mechs are wonderful. But I'm finding that I'm having a hard time bringing myself to spend $50 and $90 for the larger sets when they don't look terribly interesting. Does anyone have an opinion on them? (...)   TLC re-releasing discontinued LEGO Duplo set!

Hi all, although we shouldn't be optimistic becuase the small fact I found out today, I still can't wait to tell you about it! Today, I *might* have found the very first re-released discontinued set ever. It's nothing important IMHO as it's been (...) (...) Hm, sadly, I think he's mistaken. Pollux comes in the big $50 mech, but the C-alien with him isn't Castor. (I think it's Canopus.) I remember wondering if Castor was going to be in one of the other sets... J (24 years ago, 13-Dec-00, to lugnet.year.2001, lugnet.space)

There is a Centauri, he comes with the red planet protector if I remember right. Box is downstairs, he's on my desk, too lazy to get up and look this late..
