(...) Nah, They're drawing from two different sources. Life on Mars is naming characters after stars & constellations; BG used names from classic Greek & Roman mythology(1). Has anyone else noticed the distinct name sharing going on between life on Mars and battlestar galactica, the most horrilbe, yet strangely entertaining, space saga known to man? (...) I've tentatively identified them with the names: Grey-Green - same as Statue of Liberty color(?) Grey-Red Grey-Blue Grey-Purple. I saw that too, as a advertisement before "Meet the Parents". Pretty cool, I thought, to see it advertised so mainstream. And a great place to advertise it too. Very precise marketing.
