  Re: MARS INFO!

(...) It must be a future polybag set, I thought it may be the car from the solar explorer, but it definitely isn't. What confuses me is that on (URL) it shows the alternate model (from the back of the box) instead of the main "Mono Jet" design, (...) (24 years ago, 10-Dec-00, to lugnet.year.2001, lugnet.space)

  Re: MARS INFO!

(...) Look at the Assistant's biography on Lego. It appears to be a small polybag car he is driving. Almost guaranteed to be the LOM polybag set for the theme. I haven't had a chance to look at the Martian bios, maybe they have a polybag set as (...) (24 years ago, 10-Dec-00, to lugnet.year.2001, lugnet.space)

  Re: new Technic product shown!

(...) This I like, lego needs to make technic sets with more mechanical parts and less decorative parts. I dont mind vechicles but they need to get away from all of these sports cars, racing cars, motorbikes, construction equiplent (like those (...)   Re: new Technic product shown!

(...) As a Technics fan I completely agree with the the above comment - that's why the Starwars 8000, 8001 and (especially) the 8002 sets were such a revelation for me. I'd like to see more of this kind of set and a shift away from 'Technics' (...) (24 years ago, 10-Dec-00, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.technic, lugnet.year.2001)

(...) The 8858 has a small gear rack with two lobes on one side which is used for steering. I think that this piece is only found once as well. (24 years ago, 9-Dec-00, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.technic, lugnet.year.2001)

(...) If you look at the "Cyber Sriker Part II" on the left, notice the semi-"lower jaw" lookin' thing. That looks an awful lot like the Bionicle Finger that has the .mecha folks in a tizzy. (...) As for the model aspect you are completely right, but look on the bright side: it comes in colors that don't hurt the eye, and there seem to be some nice parts in it. Jürgen (24 years ago, 9-Dec-00, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.technic, lugnet.year.2001)

Target has all the new Star Wars sets (I picked up the AT-ST today), and the smallest 3 LoM sets. They may have had more LoM sets that sold, but I didn't see any price tags for them. I'm considering buying the $50 Podrace/Lightsaber Duel/Droid (...) (24 years ago, 8-Dec-00, to lugnet.year.2001)
