Hi,
I just bought set 65767, a Knights Kingdom combo consisting of sets 8801
(Attack over the sea) and 8802 (Vladeks Sea Fortress), and to my big
surprise, the design of the instructions have been changed.
The first pages of the instructions now have an inventory of all the pieces
in the set (just like the MegaBloks instructions have). Im not sure, if this
is the first time this has occured - I havent bought that many new sets this
year - butI for one haver never seen it before.
I hope this will be a new template, as it makes the Peeron inventory much
easier to do.

I think TLG have been listening.
Inventories in instructions is something Ive been asking for. Im not sure
how many more of us have been asking too.
Its useful when you want to build the set again later because you can get a
tray and select all the relevant parts from your now-sorted (I wish!) massive
collection before you start building. Using the pictures also saves the
trouble of naming conventions or languages.
Another bonus is that the instructions from the new Death Star II 10143 are
spiral bound.

The Creator and Designer sets have been doing that as well, with the piece
inventories. I figured its only a matter of time before they filtered to other
themes.
And TLC spiral bound the second run of ISD instructions too, I believe.
