Like a 2x2x2 brown wooden barrel? Nope. Just a hair too big. The problem
is the bottom of the tube is notched in (which provides a rail for the
sled to ride on). The inner diameter of the tube is just over 2 studs,
but because of the notch is effectively less. The sleds have a round
profile but the bottom is slightly flattened and has two guides running
down the sides which will help keep it on the track (which will prevent
the sled from binding in curves. If the hose was truly round, a 2x2
barrel probably wouldn't work well as it would get hung up on the
ribbing.
