Dear Mr. Rudy,
Thank you for your interest in Lego.  I presented your ideas
to our model design team with surprising results.  It happens
that 4 of the 12 are Civil War reenactors.  They have been working
on this idea for two years in their spare time.  It seems a reprize
of the Wild West Theme including major Civil War battles will be
released next year around April.  We hope this may produce some
comfort to you and your fellow, as you put it, "Lego Civil War
Buffs"  Look at http://www.lego.com/civilwar.htm tomorrow for
more details.
               Continue to play well,

I just had to share the news!!!

Oh, shoot, it doesn't work anymore
I'll explain what I saw

7845: Costal Patrol Battle
This was a good representation of the monitor and
merrimac, each having a crew of 5, total 10

7846: Confederate Battery
Cannon, limbered up with 2 horses and 6 confederate
troops

7848: Lee's Camp
This set includes 12 tents (tan, similar to <set:5978>)
and a new baseplate, brown as in 5978 with wagon wheel
tracks up the ramp and a brown "bandits secret hideout"
road plate. Also includes Lee, who is Obi-wan as far as
I could tell.

7847: Supply Train
A bit inacurate, this new train had engine (similar to
a moc I've seen), a flatbed witn 2 cannon and a caboose.
Had 10 federal troops, with a new, large 2 clip US flag!

7852: Gettysburg
The flagship, this set is 3 48X48 baseplates(in green).
A little roundtop with devils den, a seminar(quite junior-
ized, a one room building with coupola and 4 hospital beds)
Also, there are scatered stone walls(2 brick height) and cannon
I would hazard 20 union and 10-15 confederates, including R.E.
Lee and Grant looking man (bad inacuracy, but one can't be
picky)  This set is huge, billy, huggge!

7853: Gettysburg Address
Looks like a companion set.  Includes 9-10 common folk,
2 veterans, and lincoln with stage and seats.  Also,
Cloth Bunting!!!! around the stage, this looks like a
nice set!

I don't think anyone will be able to wit for these!
